CRAMP (Crediton Rural Arts & Music Project) is currently inactive.
This website is now an archive of CRAMP's activities between 2004 and 2014.
Lots of love and many thanks to everyone that was involved in organising or supporting CRAMP over the years!

Are you male? Like to sing? Then Crediton World Music Choir needs you!

Friendly community choir of 40+ (men and women) established since 1998 in Crediton with a repertoire of folk & traditional songs from around the world - Africa, Eastern Europe etc.

Renowned for the heartfulness and vitality of its singing. Warmly invites new members. No auditions. Everything is taught by ear and music/ word sheets and other useful prompts are also provided to make learning as easy and enjoyable as possible.

Performs regularly at local events and at the annual community choir convention "Unaccompanied Adults" in Bristol when it joins with the student-based University of Exeter World Music Choir. Both choirs are directed by Alise Ojay who also researched and developed the 'Singing for Snorers' exercise programme - hence the strange contact email address! Alise's teaching style is described by choir members as "enthusiastic, encouraging and inspiring whilst being organised, thorough and sensitive to individual needs".

The Crediton World Music Choir meets on Tuesday evenings during term-time, from 8pm - 9.30pm, at the hall behind the Congregational Church, High Street, Crediton.  For current cost see our website.
